That’s right; it’s ALIVE with a snow monster! Replete with all the key plot points of the 1993 film about the incredible true story of the 1972 Uruguayan Rugby team, YETI has a horrible plane crash, survivors struggling as they wait for a rescue, the terror and unyielding hunger that ultimately drives the teammates to consume the flesh of their fallen counterparts and to top it off, distastefully adds in a hairy Himalayan beast to further complicate an already nightmarish situation.
It boggles the mind that screenwriter Rafael Jordon and Director Paul Ziller (SWARMED) never considered the implications of transforming this story into fodder for a campy movie of the week. What’s even more disheartening is that despite all my better senses, I found YETI, once again, to be a lightweight, enjoyable uber-dorky monster movie courtesy of the Sci-Fi Channel.

Classical alaaps starts off the second version of Milenge Milenge, which is rendered by the romantic duo of Himesh Reshammiya and Shreya Ghoshal. It is good to see that the composer changes the orchestration and keeps it as an ‘Unplugged Version’. We also have ShahidKapoor reciting a few lines. The calm atmosphere which is largely due to the synthesisers’ sounds provides the perfect ground for the lower octave singing. Furthermore, Himesh also produces some nice interludes and incorporates synthesized textures in a very subtle way. Shreya Ghoshal’s vocals complement the song and overall it makes an enjoyable listening.

The most popular telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has changed its logo and unveiled a new one for new international identity. The company will be spending over Rs. 300 Crores globally to change the brand identity. The new brand identity will be unveiled all across India, Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Seychelles.
